Annual Presentation

This years event was held at Malton & Norton home of the Flamborough District President Tony Sykes. After the dinner Tony thanked his top table guests for accepting his invitation. He thanked all the people present for making the effort to attend the presentation. He thanked the caterers for providing not only an excellent meal but giving excellent service. This of course was concurred by all the diners. He especially thanked Alan Totty for not only organising the evening but for all the work he had put in during his (Tony's) year of office. Tony said the only disappointment for him was the low turnout in the afternoon for the golf. The presentation was done in a very laid back manner. Coffee first in the lounge followed by the roll of honour for the winners. Tony finished the evening off by congratulating all the winners and everybody who had participated in the competitions during the winter months. He also thanked all the clubs who had allowed the competitions to be held at their course.

I would like to thank all the Secretaries and Rabbit Captains for helping me over the last Alliance Season 2009/2010. Also a big thank you goes to those who ran the desks and did the starting. sometimes in very cold and wet weather conditions.

The Alliance Dinner went well even though the numbers were very low, so please make every effort to attend next year if you have anything to pick up.

Our guests enjoyed the day and passed on to everyone a big thank you. So have a good Summer and we will see you in the Autumn for 2010/2011 season, when our President will be Phil Leadbetter from Driffield GC.

The AGM is on Monday the 5th July 2010 at Driffield at 7.30pm.

Finally I would like to extend our (Flamborough District's) thanks to Mike Stedman (Hon Sec YRGA) for developing the web site which gives everybody not only the chance to see what's happening in our Area but follow what is happening throughout Yorkshire Rabbits.
